When stress takes a toll on you. So bad that you just close your eyes and want to cry. Well, my day was going bad and the chaos was intense in my home. I live by a lake and very rarely go there to think or anything else. Basically avoiding spending time with God in his Splendor.
Today, it was suggested that I take Buster "my dog" for a walk and spend time at the lake and see if I might enjoy it. So, I grab my phone which at the time did not seem as a bad idea. Music and Song of the Lord always help me think and pray in times of Stress. " Soothing the angry Beast" lol...
I grab the dog leash and Buster was ready to go. Off on a walk we went and with me listening to music, Buster was hard to walk not wanting to stay by my side but pulling me as fast as he could to the lake.
We arrived and as I sat on a single rock that seems to stand out....I listen to the music that is so dear to my heart. Nothing, it was like a void. After frustration and not understanding why my conversation to God seemed so bland and rehearsed. I turned off the phone and started walking Buster along the bank of the Lake. Then something amazing happened. I asked one simple question after a few minutes of calm and stillness.......A simple water logged stick caught my eye. Then a story and answer unfolded. As I walked a little bit further on a single twig was the most beautiful thing I had ever saw. My Answer. "HOPE"
Literally, the Word HOPE on a white painted and decorated clothes pin. At that point i begin to feel such joy and overwhelming enthusiasm...
One Word in the middle of nowhere on one single twig. " HOPE"
Hope: Is solid concrete evidence because it is grounded in the Word Of God. (Heb 6:18; Num 23:19) So, if I would have just took time to be still and listen then, I would have heard the things that God was saying. Oh and that stick I found; is by my fireplace under the mantle. Symbolizing the different ways and paths that God leads us to Always Come to Him for Answers.
I think I found a new place to spend time with My Father. Oh and Buster too.

Judgement and the faults that I have
Life and how it changes by the choices we make; effect people in ways that we sometimes do not see. My life has changed over the years. I have had my ups and downs. The Lord has been there for me, even when I did not want him too. The path that I have chose to is one that has been judged by others and without knowledge of my previous situation. i found that serving my Lord became a toll on my relationship and my job. So, I decided to Serve the Lord rather then Serve mans judgement on me. Now, to the title at hand. The Lord has called me to perform a task that seems impossible in a fleshly outlook. Too take on the judgemental outlook and legalistic way that churches in today,s society practice their beliefs. The way they see how Our Lord and God except people.
There was a survey done not so long ago. people were asked how they view Christians. The results were no surprise.Over half of the people asked...Stated that they believed in God but that Christians were hypocritical and too judgemental. Changes must be made and we need to get back too the Word. Back too the roots of what the Lord taught and gave for us all. There was a place that I worked at that use to say there is a grey area inn the way we do things. Well society today has adopted that grey area in the way we do things. Let me tell you something. When it comes to the "Word of God" has no grey area. It is black and white. to tolerate and accept things that goes against everything that He teaches us, To accept people does not mean too accept what they want to do perversely. Allowing a world to change they way I worship My God and the Word will not happen and I urge people too do the same.
The Christian community needs to come together and examine why we are losing people and failing. There will come a time when in the U.S. It will be against the Law to even speak in the name of the Lord. We need to learn how to except people and help them understand what the and how the Lord sees them and to make a change. But, do in in a way that they know that the Lord loves them. Being tolerate of their ways is not what we need to do but accepting them and show them that the Lord loves them. Passing judgement is not our job. Showing them the Truth with the guidance of the Holy Spirit is.
I want to ask for prayers as i answer the call that The Lord has given me. Scared with a joyful heart is what I have.

The Resolution for Men
Definition of Resolution:
1) A firm decision to do or not to do something; a formal expression of opinion or intention agreed on by a legislative body, committee, or Formal meeting, after taking a vote.
2) The action of solving a problem, dispute, or contentious matter.
I am expressing my thoughts and directing them to the men of this nation and of the world. The movie Courageous is the most eye opening movie I have seen in a long time. It shows how important God and family are together. The excitement festered and built up in me. I would just say that the Holy Spirit nudged my inner man and said that this was a wake up call. Now over the last year or more... The Lord has healed my marriage and restored my relationship with my children. Not to say that there has not been bumps in the road. I have teenagers for goodness sake. But, the time has come for us as men to stand up for God and for our Families. I started the book The Resolution for Men. It is a book that goes with the movie Courageous.
The first chapter opens dramatically. For those that have not read it.. I wont ruin it for you. However I will tell you that the Lord has put us as Leaders in our household. This is not a calling but a commandment by God. So to not lead your house is like telling your father NO I will not do this. How do you expect your family to follow you when you wont follow your father. Children are our future and your Wife is a gift from God. When you do not lead the house spiritually then your already guilty.
Ask yourself this:
1) is your wife weary, worn out, and feels like she is carrying too much on her shoulders?
2)does your marriage lack clear direction, romance, and true intimacy?
3) are your children, whether young or grown, emotionally distant from you and spiritually apathetic toward God?
If yes to any one of these..........THEN MAN UP!!!!!!!!!
Leading your family is A God-ordained responsibility on your part.
The Word of God both show us that it is never too late to start doing the right thing. Past failures does not have to mean Future failures.
I am going to start a Study of "THE RESOLUTION FOR MEN"

weather the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites (america) in whose land you are living; BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD. ( Joshua 24:15)

Wake up Sleepng Church
We have all heard the expression. "I will sleep when I am dead." Well, do us as Christians take that literally? NO!!!! Because if We did then there would be a different vibe in the American atmosphere. There is a man I know that I believe God had set in my sites that had preached about how our churches are in danger. And after much research I find that this is disturbingly true. As a Christian....I ask myself what can i do to change this. Well, I can't. Only the Lord thru me can. It is time to stop sugar coating things and get real for the Lord.
Why is it when people can go to clubs, strip bars, and do all kinds of immoral things for the Satan...But when a person steps up and speaks the Godly truth he is a nut case or racist. So ask yourself that one question. Would you rather be hated and thought of as a nut case filled with the Holy Spirit and Go to heaven? Or would you rather be like the world and serve the deceiver of lies? I have compromised myself in order that those, that do not care would like me. And I suffered. I will not compromise and tolerate the ungodly things no more. I have woke up. Will you follow suit and Wake up. The Church is a Sleeping Giant. It is time for it to Wake up. WAKE UP!!!!!!!
